California Business Ascent - Yolo County 2009 - VinPerfect - Finalist: Golden Capital Network

Current CEO/Co-Founder Tim Keller and Kevin Chartrand describe their company's product designed to allow the right amount of oxygen into wine after it has been bottled. Their product is an alternative closure to cork, screwcaps, and artificial corks. Essentially, the VinPerfect product is a filter that is placed into a screwcap wine closure that regulates oxygen transmission. VinPerfect has raised seed capital from the Sacramento Angels investment group, and is looking for their next round of funding to expand operations. The company previously won the Big Bang business plan competition at UC Davis. VinPerfect moves to the Finals in the 2009 California Business Ascent competition in November in San Diego.
